At the core of Microsoft is the Office Product Group (OPG). The tools the World uses to drive productivity are created, maintained and grown in OPG. 

 

The OPG HR team is looking for an HR Manager looking to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will partner with clients who are changing the world every day.  You will drive execution of the HR Plan and will be accountable for:  

 

 

Understanding the business.  

 

 

Understanding the people priorities while collaborating with the leadership team.  

 

Identifying key business changes impacting the organization, and partnering with both HR and business leader on recommendations for addressing.  

 

 

Partnering and coaching managers and leaders to facilitate organizational and cultural change. Educating the business on HR trends that affect the business.  

 

Successfully executing against our People Plan through the HR rhythm of the business activities.

 

Implementing HR strategies in alignment with both business and HR functional objectives; examples may include diversity programs and critical talent retention programs.

 

Building management capability to facilitate an open, inclusive, Microsoft Values-based environment that enables effective employee relations.

 

Ensuring role is perceived as an objective employee resource and escalation path for unresolved issues.

 

Developing change management and communication plans.   

Responsibilities

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

Demonstrated business acumen and people acumen, and ability to influence business leaders at an executive level

 

Ability to manage HR Programs in a complex business environment

 

Strong communications and collaboration skills

 

Ability to partner across HR to deliver effective business solutions

 

Experience with delivery of HR ROB  

 

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience:

 

Education Level Required - BS/BA degree required, MBA or an advanced degree in HR preferred

Years of Experience Required 5+ years of relevant Human Resources work experience
